How to setup D-link extender
Step 1: Firstly, connect the plugs of the DAP-1520 into any socket but must be near to your router(that is, within the range )
Step 2: Open a wireless utility software on your device( for, e.g., PC, which is connected to your network) and select the SSID.
Enter your password (The default password will be present in your Wi-Fi Configuration Card)
Step 3: Then open any web browser and enter http://dlinkap.localinto the address bar. Or use the IP address http://192.168.0.50
Step 4: The username is Admin by default, and leave the password field. blank
Step 5: Click on the Setup Wizard
Step 6: Click next to continue.

Step 8: Now you'll be prompted to select a wireless network that you wish to choose as your uplink from the list provided. Click on Select
Step 9: Enter the password of your uplink network and click Next to continue.
Step 10: Your DAP-1520 will restart the connection and the SSID, and the password will be updated networks with 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. Click Next to continue.
Step 11: A green tick mark between the Uplink Router and DAP-1520 icons shows you successfully connected the uplink router to your DAP-1520. A summary page will pop up which will show settings for both the connection to the uplink router and the extended Wi-Fi network. You must make a record of this information for future reference. Click Save.
